FAQ / FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Which lawn mower to choose?
The choice of a Peruzzo grass mulcher depends on the specific needs of the user and the characteristics of the land to be treated. In choosing the echo mower some considerations to keep in mind:
Terrain size: If you have large terrain, you may want to opt for a Peruzzo flail mower with a wider cutting width and greater working capacity to cover large areas quickly. You might consider trailed or self-propelled models with a wider cutting width and more power.
Type of terrain: If the terrain has unevenness, slopes or areas that are difficult to access, a compact and maneuverable Peruzzo flail mower that can move nimbly through rough or narrow terrain may be preferable. In that case, a side-mounted flail mower might be an ideal choice for reaching areas that are difficult to reach with other types of machines.
Type of vegetation to be cut: If you have to deal with thick grass, shrubs, or tougher vegetation, you may need a Peruzzo mulcher with greater power and cutting capacity. Models with sturdy blades and powerful motors can handle denser, tougher vegetation with ease, ensuring optimal performance even in tough conditions.
Additional features: Consider whether you need additional features, such as the ability to mulch grass clippings, adjust the cutting height, or the ability to attach attach attachments such as binders or brushes for ground cleaning. Choosing a Peruzzo mulcher with the features that best suit your needs can improve the efficiency and versatility of the machine.
Difference between the process of SCARIFYING and SFELTRATION?
Doubts are often raised about the difference between the Scarification process and the Defelting process. Hence the need to clarify and dispel any doubts. SCARIFICATION is a process that reduces the density of aerial vegetation by removing debris and dead leaves. It can be performed at any time of the year as it is non-invasive. It is done using aerators with rotating or drag springs that act above the soil surface. This practice promotes oxygenation, improving light penetration and thus photosynthesis.
SFELTRATION, on the other hand, is an operation aimed at removing felt. It needs to be performed only if it is present, as felt obstructs the circulation of air and water, causing problems. Felt is tough and requires aggressive tools to remove. This procedure, called VERTICUT, uses fixed or movable blades that cut into the first few millimeters of the soil where the felt accumulates. It is important to note that the vertical cutting required to remove felt can cause collateral damage if done incorrectly or on felt-free soil.

How many types of Threshers are there?
Mulchers are agricultural equipment used to shred plant residues and plants in the field. There are various types of mulchers, each designed for specific uses and types of vegetation.
Here is an overview of the main types of mulchers:
1. Flail mowers: are specifically designed to cut and shred grass. and are ideal for maintaining lawns, pastures and general green areas.
Usually lightweight and maneuverable, they can be mounted on tractors of moderate horsepower.
2. Mulchers: These are designed to deal with pruning residues from vineyards and orchards and are uilized for shredding sarments and woody residues from pruning.
Equipped with strong hammers or knives, capable of handling woody material.
3. Mallet or Hammer Shredders: use mallets or hammers to shred plant material. They are used for grass, brushwood, small branches, and pruning debris.
They can handle stronger materials than grass shredders because of the robustness of the hammers.
4. Universal Shredders
Designed to be multifunctional and adapt to a variety of applications, from grass to woody residues. They offer good versatility, adapting to different types of plant materials.
5. Forestry Shredders
Built for use in forests and woodlands, they are ideal for shredding wood and large shrubs.
Very strong and heavy machines, equipped with hammers or blades capable of handling logs and thick woody material.
6. Side-Shredder: They are mounted on the side of the tractor are used for maintenance of roadsides, ditches and slopes.
They can work in positions that are difficult to reach with other equipment.
7. Shredder for Rocky Grounds: these are designed to work in difficult conditions, such as rocky or debris-filled ground where other shredders might be damaged.
8. Biomass Shredder: Used for biomass production by shredding specific plant material to produce wood chips for use with biofuel.
9. PTO (Power Take-Off) mulcher: These are connected to the tractor via the PTO and can be used for various types of mulching, depending on the configuration of the blades and hammers.
10. Autonomous mulchers: these are equipped with their own engine and are used in places where a tractor cannot access or is not available.
