Features
The ROTO HYDRO INTER-ROW DISCS comes with a 60 or 80 cm diameter disc and safety valve and oil recirculation hose system to prevent damage to the hydraulic motor during sudden pressure increases. When coupled with a Loader, the ROTO HYDRO – PTO – BULL INTER-ROW DISCS is a compact piece of equipment ideal for grass maintenance along the roads as it is not bulky and easy to manoeuvre. Multiple attachments are also available for application on many front loaders of different brands. The mower plate can be moved laterally to easily reach difficult cutting areas such as under the canopy in orchards or solar panels. The return of the inter-row is always guaranteed by the presence of a special spring, adjustable depending on the strength of the impacted object.

FAQ / FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How does a flail mower with hydraulic motor work?
A hydraulically powered flail mower is an agricultural machine used to cut and shred grass, shrubs or branches, and employs a hydraulic motor system to operate the blades or hammers inside. Here is how the mechanism works:
Hydraulic motor power: The mower is connected to a tractor or other vehicle that provides power via a hydraulic system. The tractor has a hydraulic pump that sends pressurized fluid to the hydraulic motor of the shredder.
Hydraulic Motor: The hydraulic motor transforms the energy of the hydraulic fluid into mechanical movement. In other words, the pressure of the hydraulic oil turns the motor shaft, which in turn turns the blades or hammers of the mulcher.
Blades or hammers: These rotating elements are mounted on a roller inside the shredder. When the hydraulic motor turns the roller, the blades or hammers rotate at high speed, cutting and shredding the grass and shrubs that are pushed into them.
Regulation system: The cutting speed and force can be adjusted by varying the flow of hydraulic oil. The greater the flow, the more powerful the movement of the blades or hammers.
Discharge of shredded material: After being cut, the material is ejected onto the ground, usually behind the machine, in the form of small shredded pieces.
Advantages and disadvantages of tricnics with hydraulic displacement
The choice between a flail mower with hydraulic movement depends on the specific work needs, the type of soil and the frequency with which the machine is used.
In a hydraulically moved mulcher, you can move the machine laterally using a hydraulic system controlled by the tractor. This allows you to adjust the position of the shredder without stopping the vehicle.
Advantages:
Operational flexibility: With the hydraulic system, you can move the mulcher easily and quickly without having to get off the tractor or interrupt your work. This is very useful for getting around obstacles or working along edges, ditches or fences. Greater precision: Allows more precise and immediate adjustments, improving the efficiency and quality of work, especially in narrow or difficult to reach areas. Reduced effort: No physical effort is required to move the mulcher, making the operation more comfortable and less tiring.
Disadvantages:
Higher cost: Hydraulically shifted mulchers tend to be more expensive, both in terms of the initial price and any repairs. Maintenance: The hydraulic system requires regular maintenance and may be subject to failures, such as oil leaks or malfunctions of the valves or hydraulic cylinders.
When to choose a hydraulic displacement mulcher?
The choice of a flail mower r with hydraulic movement depends on the specific work needs, the type of soil and the frequency of use of the machine. A cutter with hydraulic movement allows the machine to be moved laterally via a hydraulic system controlled by the tractor, allowing you to adjust its position without having to stop the vehicle.
The hydraulically operated grass cutter can be the best solution in: Small spaces or with obstacles: If you often work in narrow spaces, with many obstacles or along borders and ditches, the hydraulic system will give you more agility and save you time.
Large and regular surfaces: If you need to work on large surfaces without particular obstacles, a manually moved mulcher may be sufficient and more economical.
Frequency of use: If you plan to use the mulcher frequently or for long periods, the hydraulic movement considerably simplifies your work and reduces effort. If use is sporadic or limited, manual shifting may be more than adequate. In general, if your budget allows it and you need more flexibility and convenience, the hydraulically moved mulcher is probably the best choice.
