Quality painting, shot blasting, pre-treatment and drying
To ensure the maximum professionalism of our products, we constantly invest in research and product development.
Adequate surface preparation of Peruzzo machines is essential to ensure optimal paint adhesion and corrosion protection of metals. During sheet metal machining, the surface becomes contaminated with organic and inorganic residues. The blasting process is the ideal solution to remove these imperfections, using an OMSG shot blasting machine that projects metal abrasive to clean the surface. The pre-treatment includes degreasing, rinsing and nanotechnology passivation steps. The process also includes a drying oven and a curing oven to stabilize the paint and prevent it from falling apart: for unparalleled durability.

Design and development

Assembly

Once designed, the actual ‘birth’ of the Peruzzo product takes place. The sheet metal is processed and welded using extremely precise robotic machinery. The bodies are entirely assembled with high-resistance DOMEX 355 and wear-resistant HARDOX 400 steel which make the product more robust and durable over time.

Sandblasting

One of the first steps, the SANDBLASTING of the shell, takes place using grit of different shapes and sizes. This makes it possible to achieve an abrasion process which is as accurate and resistant as possible

Painting

The high quality powder coating phase takes place in a dedicated area, resistant to abrasion and atmospheric agents, as well as non-toxic and free of heavy materials. This leads to a low environmental impact, which has always been an indispensable prerogative of the Peruzzo company, in all phases of the production process. The bodies are left to dry in a professional oven at high temperatures, an essential process for obtaining high-quality paint.

Quality control

Once dry, the shells are carefully checked by personnel assigned to the job. Rigid standards ensure an excellent end result in the coating phase by using specific tools that detect thickness, hold and shine

Welding

In the meantime, another step in Peruzzo production takes place: the robotic welding of the cutting shafts and bodies”

Balancing

Once the robotic welding has taken place, the knives and blades patented by Peruzzo Srl are mounted on the rotor shafts and then balanced electronically. This balancing prevents any possible vibration during the machine’s working phases

Installation

Only once the powder coating process is finished are the components installed in a large assembly area. This process is fundamental because it transforms individual components into the complex machine and ensures that it respects the technical specifications, but is also reliable, durable and safe.

Testing

Once the Peruzzo product has been assembled, a final acceptance test is carried out which authorizes its placing on the market All components are controlled with extreme precision. Even tightening screws takes place with special professional tools

Safety test

Packaging and shipping
